The Alaska SeaLife Center is a facility being built that may help in rehabilitating environmental disasters in the region. The center is located in Seward and will be used to rehabilitate marine animals and educate the public about oil spills and other similar disasters.

A personal narrative of a visit to Sheep Mountain Lodge near Matunska Glacier, Alaska, is presented. The new owners of the lodge relate their experiences of running the resort for skiers and backpackers and the difficulties of making it pay.
