Searching for great hamburgers

Hamburger made its debut on the menu of Manhattan's Delmonico's restaurant in 1834, but created a sensation at the World's Fair in St.Louis in the year 1904. A great homemade burger would be best enjoyed on a toasted kaiser roll from the bakery departments of the local supermarket.

The Italians won
Article Abstract:
The abundance of all sort of meat and its low cost changed the diet of southern Italian immigrants in America. Italian immigrants opened restaurants in New York, and these establishments set the style of cooking-Neapolitan, toned down to fit American taste.

Looking for Chinatown

Washington's Chinatown that stretches from Fifth to Eighth streets, Northwest, around G.H, and I streets is discussed. Albeit 75 years old, there is still delicious food to be found here.
