The airlines are taking stronger stances to prevent disruptive passengers from affecting the well-being of other passengers as well as crew members. The airlines are more likely not to allow passengers who appear to be drunk or belligerent board planes. The reason for the increased number of incidents is cited as stress caused by time pressures.
