Eleanor Clift was a secretary at Newsweek before she became a talk show personality in 'The McLaughlin Group.' Gradually working her way up the magazine's promotional ladder, she eventually became one of its White House correspondent. After a stint at 'Los Angeles Times,' she finally was offered to be a commentator in the talk show.
