Article Abstract:
Edward Henry Harriman conducted an environmental research with the help of some famous and influential people of America who had collected over 100 trunks of specimens, including more than 5,000 photographs and colored illustrations, a vast collection of animals and plants, 8000 insects and discovered a new fjord with over a dozen glaciers. Much of the Harriman collection is still used for research through the Smithsonian Institution.
