Snug seats in the sky - avoiding the coach crunch

The criteria used to rate the comfort of airline seats were seat pitch, seat width and configuration. Most seats received minimal or slight comfort scores. UltrAir, Midwest Express, TWA, Sabena, Royal Jordanian and AeroMexico all have seating that is more comfortable than that provided by other airlines.

Airline travelers who want to travel comfortably have to request seat reservations that avoid three undesirable arrangements. The seats should be able to recline, not be in the middle of a row, and not located near a lavatory.
