Spain: the rubies of Rioja

Spain's Rioja region produces the best traditional wines, most of which undergo aging from three to more than seven years. The wine-making methods were introduced by the French in the 19th century. The Muga, La Rioja Alta and R. Lopez de Heredia wineries produce the finest wines from the region.
