Starland memories
Article Abstract:
The Washington DC music group Starland Vocal Band had a big hit with their 1976 song 'Afternoon Delight'. In 1977, their TV show 'The Starland Vocal Band Show' went on the air and featured a relatively unknown comedian named David Letterman. The show did not match up with the band's vision and was a flop. The band's career seemed to go downhill from there, though individual members have written several hits for other musicians.
