TWA expands legroom, relieves coach crowding
Article Abstract:
Trans World Airlines adjusted the distance between seats in the coach or economy class to provide more comfort to passengers. The new distance of 34 inches for all airplanes, except the 727-100s and 767s, replaces the old one that was a minimum of 30 inches.
