The experiences of Cathy Fenton, who worked with three White House administrations, are narrated and are described as 'the perfect person to be the social secretary to the First lady - always a perfect lady with great taste and a quiet, gentle sense of humor'. During her service in the White House, she had to organize personal parties, official functions, award ceremonies and invitations to celebrities, which she accomplished perfectly, also taking care of protocol rules and individual preferences.

Cindy Stern's obsession

The events leading to a Summit resident Cindy Stern being obsessed with the life and death of a national champion from the town of Summit in the 1920s are described. She researched into the lives of his friends, contacted their relatives and finally unearthed his forgotten, unnoticed gravestone, which she believes was her mission assigned from the other world.
