Article Abstract:
A route from Conway, along the Kancamagus Hwy (Rt 112); up US Rt 3 from N. Woodstock to Twin Mountain; along Base Rd to Jefferson Highland; on US Rt 2 to Gorham; and back down to Conway on Rt 16, is described. Highlights include covered bridges and the Mt. Washington Cog Railway.

Museum of the mountains
Article Abstract:
The Museum of Appalachia in Norris, TN, has an extensive collection of artifacts symbolic of the Appalachian way of life, including farm implements, musical instruments and household items. Some of these crafts are demonstrated by local people at this highly educational museum.
