The ghost of Schooner Beach
Article Abstract:
The Satsuma Maru had been buried in the beach near Point Mamby, AK, with only the top of its three masts visible, until sand movement uncovered it in 1990. Research revealed that the Japanese schooner had wrecked in 1907 and its crew had been stranded for five months.

Party at the beach

A vacation in the Art Deco district of Miami Beach, FL, known as South Beach is described. A stay at The Raleigh hotel, a tour of the nightclubs and a party hosted by Chris Blackwell at the Marlin Hotel were highlights of the trip.
