A personal account of a trip to Malaysia, despite warnings from the Australian government that Malaysia is a bad place for Westerners to visit. The island of Penang, Malaysia, is described as an area in which people of many ethnicities and religions have long co-existed in relative harmony and, as such, may be within its rights to call itself paradise.
