Turning the tide how to fight for your rights - and win
Article Abstract:
Travelers on foreign-owned cruise lines have two choices when unacceptable problems occur on a trip. They can document their experiences and demand compensation. If the cruise line refuses to recognize their complaints, they can file a lawsuit. This latter action requires attention to deadlines for lawsuits. A third option is to complain to various agencies, such as the Federal Maritime Commission's Office of Informal Inquiries and Complaints, and post negative experiences on an Internet bulletin board.
