Putrajaya located in Malaysia is an ideal example of a planned city with 19-square-mile development and a population projected to be 335,000 by the year 2012 as planned by Malaysia's previous Prime Minister Mahatir Mohamad. His aim was to make Malaysia, which is an Islamic country, into a completely modernized and technologically advanced place while also maintaining its tradition.

Article Abstract:
The break up of Malaysian freighter Selendang Ayu in December 2004 in Aleutians Island on the great circle route last winter is discussed. The crash leaked toxic bunker oil that endangered the crab fishery and wildlife.
