View from the bridge
Article Abstract:
Bill McLean has been the tender for the Potomic's Wilson Bridge for many years. His job is to open and close the bridge when ships need to pass, but he also sometimes serves as an informal traffic reporter to callers. He says that Washington D.C. drivers have become more aggressive over the years, and that once he had to stay in his booth for 24 hours during a blizzard.
