West Coast seafood house opens on K Street

McCormick and Schmick's Seafood Restaurant, a West Coast-based chain, has opened its Washington, D.C. branch in Nov. 1996. The restaurant does not only offer seafood but also steaks and poultry as cooked by chef Andrew Cattaneo. It can accommodate 250 diners.

Savory prices on dried herbs and spices
Article Abstract:
Dried herbs and spices are better bought in bulk rather in little 'gourmet' bottles in supermarket shelves. Buying from bulk bins in food markets offers enormous savings and allows one to buy in small quantities that can be easily thrown out after some time.
