The small village of Bastia Creti, in Umbria, Italy, has been restored as a vacation place for people who long for peace and quiet. Two of the hilltop community's four stone cottages provide a view of the Niccone River Valley. Meals are served at the old church called the 'Club.'

Mediterranean hot spot
