The rugged mountains of Alaska is home to the wolverine or gulo gulo. These animals lead solitary lives and scientific information on them is scarce. Weighing about 30 to 50 pounds, they hunt for food by stealthily stalking their prey until they attack by biting with their razor-sharped teeth.
