A game of subversion
Article Abstract:
The generation of cancer stem cells by a leukemia-associated protein that has found a way to trick non-stem cells into acquiring stem-cell-like behavior and supporting tumor formation is reported. Cancer genes through appropriating mechanisms that are essential to the functions they want to gain provide the opportunity to identify molecular targets that could be used for cancer treatment by using appropriate mechanisms.

Stem cells, ageing and the quest for immortality
Article Abstract:
The intersection between the biology of ageing and the biology of adult stem cells, in particular mammalian tissue biology, functional changes with age in those tissue that or do not to relate stem cells, and the relationship between tissue ageing and longevity is studied. The potential for stem cells to be used as therapeutic vehicles has a profound effect on the vision of the future regenerative medicine.

Stem cells for the treatment of neurological disorders
Article Abstract:
The ways in which stem cells are used to treat neurological disorders are described, considering the prospects for and problems of translating laboratory findings into clinically useful therapies. The disorders analyzed include Parkinson's disease, Stroke, Huntington's disease, Alzheimer's disease, Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis, Multiple sclerosis, and Spinal cord lesions.
