A general strategy for nanocrystal synthesis
Article Abstract:
A unified approach to the synthesis of a large variety of nanocrystals with different chemistries, properties and with low dispersity is presented. This approach is based on a general phase transfer and separation mechanism occurring at the interfaces of the liquid, solid and solution phases present during the synthesis.

Spin-based logic in semiconductors for reconfigurable large-scale circuits
Article Abstract:
A theoretical design that uses spin-based logic for reconfigurable large-scale circuits is described. This spin-based method has provided wide margins for scaling and also greater computational capability per gate.

Controlling the dynamics of spontaneous emission from quantum dots by photonic crystals
Article Abstract:
Photonic crystals provide an environment to study spontaneous emission from a semiconductor. An experiment providing a base for all-solid-state dynamic control of optical quantum systems is presented.
