A new eutriconodont mammal and evolutionary development in early mammals
Article Abstract:
A Mesozoic eutriconodont nested within crown mammals that has illustrated the transition, such as the middle ear bones are connected to the mandible through an ossified Meckel's cartilage, is described. The findings reveal that the new eutriconodont has added to the evidence of homoplasy of vertebral characters in the thoraco-lumbar transition and unfused lumbar ribs among early mammals.

Interplay of p53 and DNA-repair protein XRCC4 in tumorigenesis, genomic stability and development
Article Abstract:
It has been established that the non-homologous end-joining (NHEJ) protein XRCC4 and, by extension, NHEJ is vital for maintaining mammalian genomic stability. NHEJ requirements for lymphogenesis are more stringent than for neurogenesis.
