A possible terrestrial analogue for haematite concretions on Mars
Article Abstract:
A study is conducted to compare the spherical concretions imaged on Mars with the haematite-cemented concretions found in the Jurrasic Navajo sandstone and the implications for the analogues groundwater-related formation mechanisms are examined. The conclusion states that the formation of such spherical haematite concretions requires the presence of permeable host rocks, ground water flow and chemical reaction front.

Female mating bias results in conflicting sex-specific offspring fitness
Article Abstract:
The sexually antagonistic offspring fitness is due to a female mating bias. There exists a positive genetically correlation between the father's mating success in the cricket, Allonemobius socius, and his son's mating success but is negatively related with his daughter's reproductive success.
