Bad boys question received wisdom on HIV
Article Abstract:
A group of scientists calling itself 'The Bad Boys of Cleveland' has reported evidence suggesting that virus levels in patient's blood are only a small part of the cause of HIV, contradicting one of the solid principles on which doctors rely to help them fight the HIV virus. The evidence revises the findings of the studies published in 1996, which reported that levels of HIV in a patient's blood predict how fast the patient will lose vital T cell.

Staying the course
Article Abstract:
The widespread use of AIDS treatments in Africa might encourage drug resistance, with globally disastrous consequences and the resulting rise of restraint strains of HIV might jeopardize lives elsewhere. Monitoring the emergence of large-scale drug resistance is as important as promoting the AIDS awareness against the right drugs.
