Biases in diet study methods in the Bonelli's eagle
Article Abstract:
Three methods of studying diets of Bonelli's eagle (Hieraaetus fasciatus) were evaluated for possible biases in determining prey consumption patterns. The recent-prey-delivered method and the delivered prey method are seen to contain biases due to the manner of prey consumption wherein small preys are fully consumed and large preys pose identification difficulties since their large bones are discarded from the nest after consumption. Only the pellet content method seems to offer efficient results in observing prey consumption patterns.

Evaluating the accuracy of ages obtained by two methods for Montana ungulates
Article Abstract:
Ages of Montana ungulates determined by eruption-wear criteria were often overestimated for younger animals and underestimated for older animals. Ages determined by eruption-wear criteria did not give an accurate estimate of age structure and relative cohort significance for population modelling.

Diet of the coypu (nutria, Myocastor coypus) in agro-systems of Argentinian Pampas
Article Abstract:
Consumption of Lolium multiflorum by coypu (Myocastor coypus) is greater where its availability near the water is higher. Coypu were found to show an exponential decrease in the probability of use of vegetation with distance to water.
