Bioinformatics in a post-genomics age
Article Abstract:
Bioinformatics has become an accepted area of biological research in the past few years, with increasing numbers of scientific meetings and journals dedicated to it. The completion of research into the sequences of all human genes is leading to new research into the understanding of pathways, networks, and cascades. Most biotechnology companies are actively seeking qualified people and demand generally outstrips supply.
