Differential particle size ingestion: Promoting target-specific baiting of feral cats
Article Abstract:
The potential of ferel cats to ingest larger particles relative to most nontarget species as a mechanism to increase baiting selectivity is determined. Feral cats reliably ingested inert, spherical bearings up to 4.6 mm in diameter when the bearings were implanted within a specialized bait medium. Presence of bearings did not affect bait consumption relative to untreated baits while repetitive ingestion was highly reliable in the first 9 days of feeding trial and diminished only marginally in a consecutive trial.

Effects of winter-feeding on mule deer in northern Utah
Article Abstract:
The Utah Division of Wildlife Resources implemented a winter big game feeding policy to evaluate the effects of this policy on mule deer in northern Utah and the results revealed that the fed deer sustained higher nutritional status, exhibited increased productivity and lower mortality than unfed deer.

Biases in studying the diet of the bearded vulture
Article Abstract:
Design of conservation program can be implemented by using unbiased methods to estimate the dietary requirement of bearded vultures and the result of such a study showed that food items delivered to the nest can be assumed to give the most unbiased picture of diet composition.
