Disclosure of variation
Article Abstract:
The focus of large-scale genomics studies is turned towards identifying and describing the variation in the human genome that vary among individuals in order to develop new treatment options for many diseases. The study of human DNA variation shows that the variation in single nucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs) might be one of the underlying causes for variability in susceptibility to disease and in physical characteristics such as eye color.
