Vicky Taylor, an endocrinologist, is taking part in INSPIRE (Innovative Scheme for Post-docs in Research and Education) scheme which offers a three year contracts to postdocs researchers combined with the teacher-training course. This scheme attracted more than 50 applications in the first year from the Imperial College, London and that the students have really warmed with the facts that the people are really using science for something useful.

How dangerous is chemistry?
Article Abstract:
The death of a French photochemist due to the explosion at the National Institution of Higher Learning in Chemistry (ENSCMu) in March 2006 has become a shocking reminder that research can be a risky business. The common risks involved in most of the chemistry laboratories and some preventive measures taken to reduce the risk are discussed.

Shifting constant could shake laws of nature
Article Abstract:
The fundamental constants of physics are assumed to be immutable, from the speed of light to the charge on an electron. But, the series of experiments questioned this view and suggests that over the past 12 billion years, the ratio of mass of a proton to that of an electron have decreased.
