Ecology of Chytridiomycosis in Rainforest Stream Frog Assemblages of Tropical Queensland
Article Abstract:
Research on Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis infections in Australian stream-dwelling frogs indicates that environmental conditions have a significant impact on host-pathogen dynamics, which in turn interact with immune function and species-specific behavior. These interrelationships are key in determining fungal pathogen epizootics and their emergence.

Interspecific Variation in Susceptibility of Frog Tadpoles to the Pathogenic Fungus Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis
Article Abstract:
The article examines variation in physical and behavioral infection manifestation in frog populations infected with the fungal pathogen Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis. While some species showed significant vulnerability to the pathogen during the larval stage, others were not negatively affected; implications for conservation are discussed.

Inconclusiveness of Chytridiomycosis as the Agent in Widespread Frog Declines
Article Abstract:
The article examines the role of the waterborne fungal pathogen Batrachochytrium dendrobatidis in frog population declines in Australia. Topics include the possibility of cofactors in regions in which the pathogen existed prior to declines, and the possibility of host-pathogen coevolution.
