Social foraging and the finder's share in capuchin monkeys, Cebus apella
Article Abstract:
Research describing foraging behaviour of tufted capuchin monkeys, Cebus apella, is presented. In particular the costs and benefits of the finder's share of a novel food source are investigated.

Food-associated calls and audience effects in tufted capuchin monkeys, Cebus apella nigritus
Article Abstract:
The factors that affect the production of food-associated calls in a wild group of tufted capuchins are explored. It is found that by increasing the latency to call, finders of new food sources can obtain a larger amount of food and thus reduce the costs associated with calling.

Experimental evidence for spatial memory in foraging wild capuchin monkeys, Cebus apella
Article Abstract:
Food resource scarcity during the subtropical winter in Iguazu National Park, Argentina, was exploited to experimentally evaluate spatial memory among wild capuchin monkeys, Cebus apella. Food sources were experimentally manipulated by providing feeding platforms. Expected patterns from predictions based on random foraging were compared with the actual movement of the monkeys. Results indicate that the foraging activities of these monkeys may be directed by spatial memory.
