Genotype-environment interaction and the reliability of mating signals
Article Abstract:
The reliability of mating signals and the genotype-environment interactions for sexual selections are discussed. The circumstances required for these mechanisms to work and the characteristics of signals whose reliability would be robust across a range of naturally occurring situations are described.

Female resistance to male seduction in zebra finches
Article Abstract:
Zebra finch, Taeniopygia guttata model is used to investigate the mechanisms with which males tried to persuade females to copulate with them. It is concluded that apart from some effect of male choosiness, females were fully in control of copulation.
