Hopping to the rescue

The Amphibian Conservation Club (ACC) is a childrens'club for those who are interested in wildlife found in ponds and the environment they need to survive. In the summer of 2003, the club's members rescued tadpoles, frogs, minnows, and other wildlife from a pond on Petrie Island in the Ottawa River that was to be converted into a parking lot.

The case of the dying vultures
Article Abstract:
The reason for the dying of vultures in the parks and all over India is found. These vultures generally feeding on dead cows and a medicine which is commonly used among cows are described and if consumed in high quantity can cause harm to the cows, but consumed in lesser quantity by the vultures causes harm and leads to their death.

Nature's undertakers
Article Abstract:
Different types of vultures feeding on different parts of the dead animal are described. The facts about vultures are presented which show that they can digest the worst kinds of bacteria, which cause diseases, and as these birds feed on dead animals they are called as nature's undertakers.
