Leapfrog birds
Article Abstract:
Two unrelated groups of Australian and New Guinean rainforest birds, the sooty owls and log runners that appear to have evolved identical leapfrog distributions are examined. Evolutionary biologists used DNA sequences, which provide a record of species evolutionary history and evidence for how closely related different species and population are.
