Lemurs and the regeneration of dry deciduous forest in Madagascar
Article Abstract:
Topics explored concern the effect of dwindling lemurs populations on seed dispersal and forest regeneration in Madagascar's dry deciduous forests. Results presented from tree sampling, observations of lemurs, and fecal analysis reveal the relationship between decreasing lemur populations and corresponding loss of forest fragments.

Dispersal and landscape errors in spatially explicit population models: a reply
Article Abstract:
This article responds to a number of critics concerning the relationship of dispersal to the predictions of spatially explicit population models. Topics addressed include a model to examine the effects of dispersal and landscape errors on spatially explicit population model results.
