Lithium nucleosynthesis in the Sun inferred from the solar-wind 7Li/6Li ratio
Article Abstract:
It has been established that 7Li/6Li = 31 plus or minus 4 for lithium in the solar wind that has been implanted in lunar soil. This determination goes against standard models of the solar photosphere. The most likely interpretation of these results is probably Li production in the Sun by energetic flares. However, attention must be given to the fact that the excess 7Li detected is a solar-wind component as it is implanted at depths less than 30 nm.

Ancient bacteria liked it hot
Article Abstract:
The article explains the characteristics and the environment of various proteins that are resurrected from ancestral bacteria. The findings show that these proteins exhibit extremely high thermal stability and their survival temperature almost equal the temperature of their ocean habitats.

The X-ray crystal structure of RNA polymerase from Archaea
Article Abstract:
The article explains the first X-ray crystal structure of the archael RNA polymerase (RNAP) obtained from Sulfolobus solfataricus. The structural properties of the archael RNAP are found to be extremely similar to that of the eukaryotic.
