Molecular gas and dust around a radio-quiet quasar at redshift 4.69
Article Abstract:
The observations of a radio-quiet quasar, BR1202 - 0725, at redshift 4.69 show the presence of large mass of molecular gas and dust. The emissions from carbon monoxide reveal the presence of two objects that are separated by a few arc seconds. The object besides the quasar is either a companion to the quasar or gravitational lensing of the quasar itself. The conditions prevalent in the quasar may result in huge bursts of star formation.

Discovery of a bright quasar without a massive host galaxy
Article Abstract:
The discovery of a quasar lying at the edge of a gas cloud, whose size is comparable to that of a galaxy, but whose spectrum reveals no evidence for stars is reported. It is found that the quasar is interacting dynamically with a neighboring galaxy, whose gas might be feeding the black hole.

The rotating wind of the quasar PG 1700+51
Article Abstract:
The spectroscopic properties of the quasar PG 1700+518 is studied to prove the existence of disk winds in such galaxies. The results show that the wind has large rotational motions and normally rises vertically from the disks.
