Not-so-magic numbers
Article Abstract:
Nuclei have great stability when it has a 'magic' number of neutrons and protons. However, the challenge to the basic assumption of the permanence of nuclear magic numbers had developed through studies of nuclei that in terms of their numbers of protons and neutrons are far from the region of stable, naturally occurring isotopes.

Motion camouflage in dragonflies
Article Abstract:
The use of stereo cameras, in reconstructing the movements in three dimensions of dragonflies is described. This shows that these insects actively use motion camouflage to disguise themselves as stationary during territorial aerial manoeuvres.
