Only a matter of time
Article Abstract:
Charge conjugation is a quantum-mechanical concept, but parity is a more familiar concept, and time reversal is also easy to understand. Experiments have used the decay of neutral kaons to search for time non-invariance, and the level of violation was found to be consistent with that predicted from previous experiments, showing CP violation. A new upper limit on the electric dipole moment of the neutron has been reported, providing direct evidence for violation of time-reversal symmetry.

Time's broken arrow
Article Abstract:
Evidence from two experiments show the world is not symmetrical with regard to time, using the properties of the neutral kaon. Kaons and antikaons were produced and observed for decay in the CPLEAR experiment at CERN, Geneva. The KTeV experiment at the Fermilab in Chicago studied the dynamics of decay of neutral kaons into charged pions and an electron-positron pair, to deduce time-reversal non-invariance.

Two is the magic number
Article Abstract:
The muon is similar to the electron; expect that it is some two hundred times heavier than the electron. In quantum theory, although the magnetic moment of the muon should be twice the value calculated, their ratio is not exactly two.
