Pitch discrimination in the early blind
Article Abstract:
Blind people are better than the sighted people at judging the direction of pitch change between sounds even when the speed changes slightly. A performance of group of people who are early blind, onset of blindness and late-blindness is compared and is finally concluded that the early-blind people are better at determining the direction of pitch change.

Putting it into practice
Article Abstract:
Quantum information theory could someday lead to the development of quantum information technologies, using quantum systems such as atoms, ions or photons to store data. Ion traps of a rudimentary sort have been developed in Austria and the US. But much work remains to be done.
