Pricing policy for tourism in protected areas: Lessons from Komodo National Park, Indonesia
Article Abstract:
Studies done on financial contribution by using financial data from Komodo National Park, Indonesia and a willingness-to-pay questionnaire of independent visitors is presented. Findings reveal that partial revenue retention by KNP will help show the conservation value of tourism to both visitors and managers and has the potential to increase visitors' willingness to pay.

Conservation of mammals in eastern North American wildlife Reserves: How small is too small?
Article Abstract:
The objective of methods of systematic reserve selection is to maximize conservation benefits, and reduce the costs of acquiring and maintaining reserves. Immigration corridors and buffer zones which combines small reserves into assemblages summing up to a minimum of 2700 square km will be the most efficient way of conserving mammals in those reserves.

Changing species richness and composition in Canadian national parks
Article Abstract:
The study suggests that species inhibiting larger parks are less susceptible to extirpation and alteration. The covariance of climate and human activity in Canada has resulted in the establishment of larger protected areas in regions with fewer species and smaller protected areas in more species-rich regions.
