Quantum nature of a strongly coupled single quantum dot-cavity system
Article Abstract:
A new method is shown to locate the absolute position of buried quantum dots (QDs) by atomic force microscopy (AFM) metrology. The results have shown that the generated photon stream becomes antibunched, proving that the strongly coupled exciton/photon system is in the quantum regime and also the quantum information tasks are achievable in solid-state cavity quantum electrodynamics (QED).

The nonlinear Fano effect
Article Abstract:
The article discusses the numerous experiments that are being conducted to gain insight into the nonlinear Fano effect. The Fano effect occurs when the quantum interference takes place between two competing optical pathways.
