Effects of hunting group size, snow depth and age on the success of wolves hunting moose
Article Abstract:
With reference to Scandinavia data, the significant factors that contribute to the success of wolves, Canis lupus, in hunting moose, Alces alces, are analyzed. Hunting success is found to be largely determined by breeding males' age.
