Relocating prairie dogs
Article Abstract:
The Front Range in Colorado has had problems with large prairie dog colonies. Though these animals plow and enrich grasslands, they often have to be relocated. Animal lovers have arranged a safe way of relocating these animals by capturing them through flooding warrens.

The Open Space System in Boulder, Co. is the preservation of land which encompasses the natural habitats of animals such as foothills, grasslands, wetlands. Boulder's Department of Open Space has been working to preserve animal habitats since 1975.
