Return of the last Neanderthal
Article Abstract:
The new dating results from Gorham's Cave, Gibraltar, have indicated that a group of Neanderthals survived extinction in this part of southern Iberia until least 28,000 years ago. Recovering human fossils might help in resolving the uncertainty and shed more light on the morphology of late Neanderthals.
