Sunny side of global warming
Article Abstract:
The weak general magnetic field of the Sun has more than doubled over the past 100 years, according to research based on records of geomagnetic activity in the UK and Australia since the 19th century. This finding fits in with the fact that the number of sunspots has also doubled since the same time. The doubling of the general field suggests that the Sun has become much more vigorous. The Sun is clearly brighter by around 0.1%.

The shady side of coffee
Article Abstract:
The coffee-growing practice for producing sun-grown coffees is harming migratory birds and other small mammals that live in forested areas. Forests that are used by shade-grown farmers are slowly diminishing as a result of a trend towards sun-grown coffee planting.
