The devil bear: is the wolverine a victim of bad press?
Article Abstract:
The wolverine, much like the wolf, has had the misfortune of being labeled a vicious animal. This label has been found to be untrue and probably stems from the fact that little is actually known about the largest terrestrial member of the weasel family. Wolverines mostly survive by eating small animals, though they have been known to kill large game on occasion.
