High-energy colliders and the rise of the standard model
Article Abstract:
Various experiments at high-energy colliders have helped in the establishment of the standard model of particle physics, giving a precise theory of particle interactions up to 100 GeV scale. The model says that the Universe is composed of small number of different elementary particles that interact in well-defined ways.
