The methane mystery
Article Abstract:
Atmospheric scientists are worried over the claims made by a German chemist that living plants emit greenhouse gas methane. The debate on methane formation started when Frank Keppler, a geochemist at the MPI for Nuclear Physics in Heidelberg, Germany, had proposed the missing mechanism on how the plants might produce methane.
