The sequestration of ethane on Titan in smog particles
Article Abstract:
The mysterious absence or rarity of liquid ethane that condenses onto the smog particles, instead of liquid drops, at the cold temperatures in Saturn's largest satellite, the Titan's atmosphere is explained. The dusty combination of smog and ethane, forming deposits several kilometers thick on the surface, including the observed dunes and dark areas, could be named smust, and this satellite-wide deposit replaces the ocean long thought to be an important feature of Titan.

Complex organic matter in Titan's atmospheric aerosols from in situ pyrolysis and analysis
Article Abstract:
Aerosols in Titan's atmosphere play an important role in determining its thermal structure. An in situ chemical analysis of Titan's aerosols by the process of pyrolysis in which ammonia and hydrogen cyanide were identified as main products proving that aerosols include a solid organic refractory core and that carbon and nitrogen are in the aerosols, is reported.
